Satama Hotel

The staff was great, wonderful service, Junior from the bar was the highlight of my days, he made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to satisfy me. But there was no beer of any kind for several days, no smart TV, and the hotel transport was never available. Beside that clean place, beautiful view.

Excellent hotel just minutes from the airport which makes your stay very convenient, especially if you plan to explore Cap Haitien. Close to restaurants and bars. Excellent views of the city. Bring your binoculars!!! Update 2025. The hotel is rapidly declining. With not many choices, this hotel is very busy but the owners are not reinvesting profits to keep the hotel in pristine condition. Even with the unrest in PAP, this should be a priority but it’s not. For a week, I struggled to keep my room cool. I even asked for a technician to no avail. Unacceptable behavior! Finally I get a new room and when I turn off my bedroom light, my air conditioner turns off too. So tonight, I sleep with the lights on. From now on, I will not recommend this hotel. Did I mention the elevators do not work? If you have heavy bags, beware. Stay away.

Be aware of that hotel I booked my reservation ( for August last year) 2 months prior, when I got to Haiti, they told me sorry, we don't have anything available. This is one of the most bs, I never heard in my life. They looked at you in your eyes and said, we don't have anything available while you got your reservation number on your hands. Think about it, you landed in a country you don't know too much about and they told you that bs. My head was spinning like crazy. I asked the front desk to speak to the manager. She came out angry , like it's normal. She was like ,we don't have a room, we don't have a room sample as that. I was like thank you, and you always gonna living in your hell.
