This is such an amazing place! It’s a hidden gem in Siquijor. We got the ocean view room (I highly recommend)! The room comes with a fridge and water, the hot water is stable in the showers, the room is clean. The bed/ mattress is super comfortable, their sheets and blankets feel really nice, and the Air conditioners are new and super nice. And literally at your footsteps is the gorgeous white sand beach with turquoise clear beach waters! And it’s never crowded! The workers were very friendly, super helpful and made our stay a wonderful vacation. It is connected to a beach, so if you leave your valuables including shoes/slippers inside the room, there are no issues! We felt very safe and secure during our stay. It’s also right across from a great restaurant and cafe Tawhay where you get your complimentary breakfast and everything was so yummy there! Whenever we got sand in the room, I will ask and the ladies would clean the room so quickly. Thank you. As an American who traveled around the world, this place is a gem, and you don’t want to miss out!
We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. We have availed the Barakada Room for 6 pax. This accomodation exceeds my expectations. Pros - We paid P1100 each for 3D2N. It's already cheap considering we're located in San Juan. - They have free breakfast with no drinks 😅 their service water is available though. - They have their own resto in moderate-expensive price per meal. - They have generator! Siquijor is notorious of blackout and having a generator is a plus. - Their customer service is accommodating from the time I inquired via Facebook until we checked out. They're the ones who look for our ride (tricycle) going to pier. Cons - The WiFi is not working when we checked in. I know it's not their fault but it's essential for those people who wants to work remotely. - Their AC isn't cold enough but doable. - I was under the impression that their Barakada Room is beach front. The room is located at the back of their resto. I will definitely come back here the next time I visit Siquijor!
Sorry but this is the worst room accommodation my family and I experienced. Setting aside the pleasant, warmth and welcoming staff and people around siquijor, this resort do not promise any convenience at all. We got 1 family room (we requested to transfer to 2 deluxe beachfront room the following day), aircon was hot, mosquitoes keep coming in that we have to use citronella spray. Bathroom was flooding every bath, water up to the door so u dont get to dry ur feet. Really terrible and yucky! And the wasn't closing naturally, you beed extra effort to pull the knob hardly as the door itself is not aligned or fitting was jammed. There's a bad smell coming out of either from the toilet or the drainage so u have to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. Generator do not autimatically switched back on, so we waited for more than 30mins of heat and darkness. You can only sleep and rest after the resort beside us stops the party and sound. Dogs barking around too. No amenities. Just shampoo and liquid body soap. No toothbrush and the usual amenities we expect from hotels/resort. I dont know how worse it could get but we got this deal from an agency at a package. Lesson learned. Do not juat rely on agencies. Pls dont book this unless ure used to this kind of inconvenience. Food at the resto is good, by the way and big servings. Breakfast is free but so so. Pretty much expensive compared to resto food in dumaguete. I guess siquijor is not yet ready for surge of guests in the future.
