Seagull Hotel Cox's bazar

Stayed here for 3 nights. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's located pretty much in the downtown area. The beach is also located just in front of the hotel. The hotel holds a historic significance here as it is one of the oldest hotels but they have been renovated and it's pretty much standardized now. The reception staff were good but I feel they could've done a lot of things better. I guess there's room for improvement. The rooms are decent, a bit old fashioned but standard. The AC was working well which was good. The room service was more or less prompt, with stuff like towels. But we had asked for an extra bed during check in, and had mentioned to provide the additional items like towels and toothbrush as well, but they were a bit late in providing the extra bed. They have an outdoor swimming pool, which is pretty large in size, with a kids section as well. They provide complimentary buffet breakfast. The breakfast is decent, has Bengali dishes mainly but also some continental items. The egg station is also good. They provide complementary seating options at the beach in front. One of their better services is their complementary shuttle service from the airport, just be sure to provide them your flight timings a day in advance. Overall it's a decent place to stay especially if you're looking for a family friendly place that's close to the beach and most of the good restaurants.

Condition of the rooms is not as good as a 4 Star hotel. It was a bit dirty inside. The receptionists are a bit less professional. Not in a sense of their behavior but as expertise in their work. I forgot to give them back the room key, they didn't even ask for while my departure. The food they serve was awesome 💯. No complain. Good breakfast buffet. They fill everything properly. The restaurant staffs are very professional. There is a cafe at the 1st floor. They serve very tasty desserts with a very reasonable price. Don't forget to grab one.

Not Worth It – Especially If You’re Traveling with Kids I recently stayed at Seagull Hotel, and honestly, it was a letdown. The location is nice, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. The rooms were old and not very clean, with a musty smell that didn’t go away. Housekeeping wasn’t reliable either — something as simple as changing bed sheets took too long. The walls were super thin, so I could hear pretty much everything going on in the rooms next to mine, which made it hard to sleep. The staff didn’t seem interested in helping guests. Most of the time, they acted like any request was a bother. On top of that, the place really isn’t kid-friendly. There weren’t any family-friendly amenities, and overall it just didn’t feel like a good place for kids. For the price I paid, I expected a much better experience. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they make some serious changes.
