Perfect location close to town but quiet and serene. Beautiful views of the harbor with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunrise. We had the end suite and it was great. Cara was just wonderful too, she was responsive to all our inquiries. Couldn't ask for better service. We had a great 2-night stay in Digby during the Scallop Festival.
We couldn't have asked for a better stay anywhere. We booked room 7 with the private deck. It was perfect with a beautiful view of the water. The entire staff were so hospitable. Always asking if there was anything that we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
The toilet broke in the middle of the day and there was no one on the property to deal with it. Office locked. I called the after-hours emergency number on the hotel office door and it was DISCONNECTED. Again, this wasn't the middle of the night, it was like 10 AM (and it never did get fixed). It was really stressful, the opposite of what one wants on vacation. With the kitchenette and good location, we really thought this would be a great spot to spend a night or two on vacation. If nothing breaks or goes wrong on your stay, maybe it would be. There was a super sweet woman cleaning rooms who said the owner was out of town. Apparently he thinks the hotel will run itself while he's away?
