It’s totally not worth it. We’ve been waiting for an HOUR to finally get into the rooms. Sitting as a family of 6 in the “lobby” which has knocked off 2 chairs to sit on with no AC?! It’s frickin hot and there’s no service or person to get help from.
The only advantage was a nice view at the sea and town. Disadvantages were various including: 1) awful room service - during 4 weeks it was poorly cleaned 2 times. The second time they didn’t clean the bathroom at all. The balcony was not cleaned even though there was a lot of water after rain. 2) towels, blankets, bedsheets were dirty and shabby. 3)air conditioning works so noisy as if it’s a jet airplane taking off. The worst was the neighbor’s air conditioner was attached to the wall of our room so the trembling and humming sound of a shaking wall didn’t let us sleep well. 4) food. It’s usually cold so it was unpleasant to eat. Why don’t they get a microwave for heating up - good question. Diet is repetitive, almost the same every day. We mostly ate in other places and bought some products in a shop. No normal cutlery like glasses, cups, plates. Drinking from plastic cups is totally not ecologically friendly. Cats are in the canteen everywhere, so the question of hygiene is at stake, isn’t it? 5) smell of cat urine everywhere so it says something about cleaning in this place. Cats create atmosphere but one should clean better. Totally unpleasant pool. It was not the season, but the look of blurry water with some items of trash, leaves in it etc doesn’t add charm 6) there were always some problems with wifi, electricity, hot water or lift. They just changed each other as work shifts.7) there were no hangers in the wardrobe - yes, such a tiny detail but big one when you cannot find a place to put your clothes. 8) the most disappointing and disgusting moment when staff member came into the room without warning of management, and I was in bed. To me it’s a personal insult if men behave so disrespectful to women. One should wait until there is no one in the room if it’s not an emergency (in that case it was just setting a doorknob in a bathroom, seriously? You couldn’t clean the room, but remembered about the doorknob?) 9) when we checked in, the bed was broken, the door handle was broken, the room was dirty, so we waited until they fixed the flaws. It’s not about comfort at all, but if you are looking for some sort of inspiration in an old hotel as a hippie or a person who likes humiliation, discomfort, ignorance - you must love it here. In my view it doesn’t worth 600$ for such a bad service. Shame.
HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO THERE! the staff is rude, rooms are dirty, the night we arrived there was no electricity and the elevators didn't work. They made us change the rooms twice, neither reception nor the working staff has no idea how to talk to the customer. They don't respect you as a person or as a customer. The value for the stay was overpriced considering food is mediocre, rooms are barely hanging - the fridge wasn't working during a heatwave - and one room didn't even have a shower head. Would never recommend. The only thing if there is any is the location , just across the beach and that's it.
