Seoul Garden Hotel

I stayed here a few years ago but forgot to write a review until now. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was fantastic—just steps away from a subway station with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, making it a great place to unwind after exploring the city.

The rooms are clean and a good size, but there is no a/c or even a fan in the room, so it gets really hot at night. The loud road noise makes it undesirable to leave the window open. Also, while the staff is adequate, they could be more friendly and helpful. So, even though the location is good, we would not stay here again.

Everything about my stay was great except for one experience at the reception. When I asked the receptionist to help me book a taxi to the airport for the next morning (at 4:30 AM), her attitude was unpleasant and unhelpful. She repeatedly said they couldn't be sure about arranging a taxi at that hour, which made me quite stressed, as I had no other way to get to the airport (I had a smilier experience with her the day before too. No friendliness or politeness towards the guests). In contrast, the next morning, the staff had no issue calling a taxi, and it arrived without any problems. It would have been much more reassuring if the receptionist had simply let me know that early-morning taxis can usually be arranged, instead of making it seem uncertain. A little reassurance would have made a big difference.
