There is no better option for families looking for a relaxed stay in the Lisbon Cascais area. The resort is large and comfortable. The Glass Terrace is convenient and the service is fast. The portions are large and you will be able to start your day with a healthy breakfast with many options. If you want something special just ask. I love the gym as it is well equipped. The spa, sauna and aqua therapy area is close by. My family of five slept comfortable and everyone had their own space. I strong recommend this hotel. I used Uber to commute and the prices were very affordable and the driver were all good and helpful with places to try. The people of Cascais are some of the nicest people you will meet in this world. Thank you Tiago for a pleasant welcome and the rest of the staff for their kindness.
We really enjoyed the location of the hotel – it’s excellent for exploring Cascais. The rooms are good, spacious and comfortable, but they don’t quite feel as luxurious as advertised. We were disappointed with the pool – it’s beautiful and large, one of the main highlights of the hotel – but unfortunately it’s not heated. This information wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool photos, as we wanted our young daughter to enjoy the summer days in a warm pool. Unfortunately, the water was too cold for her to enjoy it. On the positive side, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always smiling, they were proactive and really did their best to assist us in every way. That made a big difference in our stay.
Not one of my favorite experiences or services at a Sheraton hotel by any means. The reception staff were shockingly unprepared and completely lacking the level of professionalism expected at a property of this category, especially for Ambassador members. We registered for an early check-in at 11 am. ten days before arrival, yet when we got there, our room was not ready. Instead of the warm welcome and efficiency one would expect, we were met with indifference and dismissive attitudes. We ended up waiting until 4 pm to get our room, and rather than receiving an apology or any form of compensation, the receptionist simply said “There’s nothing I can do; 11 am was just an estimated time if the room was available.” At no point neither on the booking nor in the confirmation was it stated that early check-in was merely “estimated.” We planned our travel to arrive exactly at our confirmed check-in time, leaving early and making the trip unnecessarily stressful, only to spend five hours waiting. This delay cost us almost an entire day we could have enjoyed at the beach. For a brand like Sheraton, this level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. The only highlight of our stay was the outstanding service from Mario, the bell boy, whose professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness were exceptional and made dealing with him a truly pleasant experience.
