We just returned from our stay at the Tokyo Grand Sheraton, and I have to say it was one of the most genuinely family-friendly hotels we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we checked in, every staff member we met was welcoming and attentive, especially the teams working at both the indoor and outdoor pools—they were absolutely fantastic with our family and made us feel completely at ease. I also want to mention the food, because it was truly outstanding. We didn’t have a single bad meal the entire time. Every restaurant we tried was consistently excellent, and the service was always warm and professional. It’s not often you can say every meal was memorable for the right reasons, but this was definitely the case here. Overall, our stay was incredible thanks to the people who clearly care about their guests. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to Disneyland, making it ideal for families. There are plenty of kid-friendly activities available on-site, which our child really enjoyed. The staff dedicated to Platinum and higher-tier members were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in the Japanese Suite, which was spacious and beautifully designed. However, we did encounter a couple of issues. When we visited the hotel's designated counter for Disneyland tickets, it took quite a while before a staff member arrived to assist us. Additionally, we found a live cockroach in our room. When we called reception, the staff member on the phone didn’t understand what we were trying to explain, and we had to ask someone to come to the room after we had already dealt with the insect ourselves. Overall, the experience was good, especially for families, but there’s room for improvement in responsiveness and communication.

Stayed here with the family in late July for a Disney trip. The hotel has a great location—right across from the Disney monorail and with a free shuttle to Maihama Station. Staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and very professional throughout our stay. The room was the letdown. I booked a Premium Club Lounge Corner Room expecting a Tokyo Bay view, like the website shows. Instead, we got a view of the parking lot and just a sliver of ocean. If you book this room type, confirm you're getting one on a higher floor with better views. Ours was room 600—not ideal. The Club Lounge was nice, but access during meal hours is limited to one hour due to how busy it gets. Indoor pool was a bit small. The outdoor pool looked great but cost around $50 per person, which felt excessive. Restaurants were decent but no real value deals. Overall, the service was great and the hotel was clean, but it’s starting to show its age and felt overpriced for what we actually got. 3.5 stars.
