Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

Hotel was under construction during our stay in early August. We were never disturbed by any construction ton noise but the entrances and restaurant area has limited space due to the work. I would have given the rooms a higher rating but the AC was very weak and had trouble keeping the room comfortable with moderate temperatures outside during the day (highs in low 70°F/20°C). Otherwise the newly renovated rooms were nice. There is some city noise from the streets below. The staff was friendly and helpful but there was a wait line nearly every time we came and went. The location is the best feature. Convenient location and easy walk to the airport Arlanda Express train. Short walk across the bridge out the front door into old town, and very close to the metro station. We loved the location and were able to explore far and wide from this central point.

This was a perfect location to walk to old town Stockholm, the Presidential palace, and the shopping district. The central train station is just across the street making further exploration within easy reach. I would definitely come back here again, the rooms are spacious clean and comfortable.

Good location, but service was awful. Room A/C wouldn’t drop below 24°C—we woke up sweating, and maintenance couldn’t help. Housekeeping skipped towels in one room, so we had to share. No one answers calls or replies to messages—you have to go down to reception for any request. Check-in was also unpleasant; Karen at the desk was subtly rude.
