If you need to control your nighttime sleeping temperature and or light, this is not the hotel for you. Read the reviews going back years to confirm this. You can set it to whatever temperature you want, but it will maintain a 27 or 28C temp at night. You can open the window, but it can be loud. As for the light, the temperature control device in the bedroom says backlit all night long. It's very dim, so it's not a deal breaker. That said, our room was very nice and spacious (we had a suite), and the view of the beach with the floor-to-ceiling windows is fantastic. Loved the window at the tub so I could take a bath and look out (you can close this with a solid sliding door). The check in procedure is a little strange, and there might be a wait, but at least the lobby is nice. I found the staff competent but a little cool, which is fine as I don't need to be fawned over. The breakfast buffet was uninspired but good. They could add more fruit. Plan ahead if you want to do laundry as there are only two washing machines and dryers, and they are popular. And if you find a pair of ladies white crew socks, they're mine.

Great location. The area surrounding hotel is awesome. We stayed 6 nights. The only thing that needs updating is the TV (not a smart TV)and the washing machine. Fast wash about 30 minutes but drying takes about 5 hours.

The property is swanky and located ideally, just opposite the Haeundae beachfront. All amenities seemed fine until we asked for a refill for the coffee sachets and they said it's not possible. We asked for an extra mattress or an extra comforter to accommodate my son. They quoted an obnoxious charge for both, which we declined and spent both nights sleeping very uncomfortably. These were very disappointing responses. Being such an upmarket hotel and located so conveniently, customer service should be topmost priority and we weren't asking for much.
