Shishangeni Lodge Kruger National Park

We stayed in Camp Shonga for one night :-) everyone was very kind to us and considerate, it was really good service & we especially loved our game drives with ranger Texan, who did his very best to find all the animals we wanted to see! I also recommend doing a massage at the main lodge :) The location is very good and peaceful. As regards improvements, the room/tent was a little bit outdated and extremely dark, 1-2 more lamps would probably help; the dining room was not very comfortable and when staying for one night the program is too fully packed, we barely spent any time at the Camp or in the room at all Nevertheless, a clear recommendation ☺️

Dear staff and members of Shishangeni Lodge. I recently visited Kruger National park and stayed at your lodge. I am really satisfied and happy to enjoy my vacation with my wife at your resort. It was an amazing experience. The safari drives were also fantabulous. We were really lucky that we could see all the big FIVES along with so many other animals, birds and even crocodiles. The GM Mr. Ntikeni was really helpful and guided us in many ways. The reception staff Leo, Paradise and other were also very kind and polite. The chef was an amazing cook as she prepared excellent vegetarioan food for us. The rooms were out of the world, The whole campus of the resort was awesome. Overall it was a great, memorable holiday for us. Definitely I will plan to send my parents for a wildlife safari vacation. Our ranger Harold was also very friendly and he guided us very well during our morning and evening safaris. Amazing. Cheers. Chao.

It was a nice and classic safari lodge. I like how it felt timeless and everyone was kind. The game drives were at 5:30 am and 4:00 pm - it was so hot in November 2024. We saw the big 5 and more cool things around this more private area of the park. It was quiet and we enjoyed the privacy and the small animals around and the pool on the hot days.
