Sibu Boutique Hotel

This is one of the best hotel experience I've had out of ten countries and many places in the US. We had the largest room as a family of 5 with three beds and don't understand why every hotel doesn't have this option. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of room for us to have all our suitcases out, extremely clean. The grounds were so beautiful. All of the plants and flowers make for a serene and stunning outside environment. Normally I pass on a hotel restaurant but we have dinner here twice and it was delicious and reasonable. The breakfast was the best. So delicious and wonderful for an included breakfast option offering both buffet and made to order food included, great coffee and latte and cappuccino options as well. They even made us to go breakfast for one of our early morning tours of Monteverde. The service was fantastic and everyone we encountered seemed to be genuinely invested in our stay being exceptional, which it was. I'm only disappointed we couldn't stay longer and experience the sister hotel pool and spa. Pura vida!

A lovely hotel with a great restaurant - breakfast is especially good. The room was clean save for a few ants crawling around the ceiling (not surprising considering the locale) and was fairly basic but well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful across the board. Good experience overall.

Hotel is in a great location. Just a few minutes away from the town, and not too far from the parks. Staff was friendly and always helpful. The room was slightly disappointing and not very practical. Felt cramped for 4 people. There was a massive shower, which seemed to be half of the listed size of the room. Not many shelves or places to put things in the bathroom or in the room. A few ants were found in the room but nothing too bad. AC was not fully functional. Overall, a decent stay. Our favorite part was a black cat that wandered around the hotel. Not sure if he was the hotel cat, but he was very cute and friendly!
