Hotel with a strategic place in the city center. Impressive luxury with good views, friendly staff. Nice and clean room.

Good bed, nice view. But 5 stars, no way! Only bath towels, no face or hand towels. Nothing similar to a towel even to step outside of the shower. The light in the cupboard/closet was on all the time. It is not possible to turn it off. The staff had to take the bulb out to turn it off. This is unnecessary and annoying. Breakfast was ok. A bit less oily than the rest of Indonesia.

Sorry to say the hotel has seen much better days. Condition of the room was bad; run down and not properly cleaned. Broken mirror, taps and urine soaked toilet seat that should have been replaced years ago. The in-room safe was locked and not useable. There was an ever present smell in the toilet that smelled like rotting fish. Badly stained carpet and chairs with hair and food crumbs that were not cleaned. Shower area with scum on all the walls. The breakfast food selection was forgettable. All rooms are smoking rooms, so expect stale cigarette smell. I won’t stay here again. The saving grace was the size of the room and the king-sized bed. Nothing much near the hotel to explore on foot.
