We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very comfortable, clean, and neat, with lots of windows that let in plenty of natural light — which we loved. The bedding was especially cozy and super comfortable. While the reception area looked a bit dated and could use a refresh, it didn’t affect our experience at all. Overall, a lovely place to stay and would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location, very clean, and super nice team. We were also able to rent bikes here. The hotel gym situation is interesting - they partner with a personal trainer space just a few doors down so as a result you have to reserve a time at the gym. But there’s plenty of availability time-wise (I’d just recommend asking the day before) and, as a result of this set-up, it’s way better equipped than a normal hotel gym. If we come back to Amsterdam, we’d definitely stay here again!

Not as good as it used to be. I previously stayed at the Sir Albert and loved it, so returned to it for a more recent trip. It was feeling much less boutique-y and more like an average mid-range hotel, and less good value for the fairly high costs it charges. Definitely don't bother paying for the breakfast - I paid 23 euros extra each day in advance for this, because I remembered it being wonderful, but now it's a very mediocre standard hotel buffet. I've had better breakfasts in much cheaper hotels where it was included in the cost, and there's lots of nicer places to get breakfast out nearby. However, the location is still excellent, De Pijp is a great area to stay in, and it's an easy walk to the museums, plus you can see a metro station from the hotel door.
