SLS Buenos Aires Puerto Madero

Hi there After arriving I was greeted by the weirdest door I’ve seen in a hotel like it’ was something temporary but this was caused by one of these architects who had a aha moment. Anyway it’s been changed so rest assure you won’t face what I did. After entering I was funky and I was greeted by lovely staff members. Pros Good facilities Good location for seeing the dock area with some funky places to eat. Amazing gym. One of the best I’ve seen a hotel. Spa looked inviting. Restaurant was lovely with good ambience and view. Great array of breakfast option including champagne and egg white omelettes. I tried both 👌🏻. Pool looked nice but didn’t use it. Reception staff concierge and manager couldn’t have been more helpful. All in all I really can’t complain. I’d give it 8.5 to 8.8 out of 10 as a place you can spend 2 weeks at quite easily. Here are my cons if you need some. Front entrance door Poor lighting in some parts of restaurant. Toilet door in hotel room heavy and lack of handle to pull open, gym could be 24hrs.

We enjoyed our stay in this luxurious property. The full service breakfast with a variety of fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit and yogurt, made to order capuchino, eggs and omlettes as well as savory options like smoked salmón was served in a lovely restaurant with an outdoor dining option. The staff was exceptional, the room and modern bathroom were spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely balcony overlooking the river. 5+ Stars

Hotel staff was courteous, but not empowered. Rooms are dated and lack repairs Our suite balcony and shower doors were broken/shattered glass. I found the restaurant disappointing Service and Food Quality was minimal for value - My steak was overcooked (3) times and lacked any flavor, I was charged $40 USD for a vodka tonic. I expected better from a property with 4+ star ratings.
