Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire

I am always happy to return to Sofitel Hotel Ivoire. It was and still is the best hotel in the city, despite the plethora of new options that have opened, as it offers the grandeur and splendour that no other property in Abidjan can match, as well as parallel comfort. The staff is super nice, except some of the workers who are working to freshen up the hotel as the time shows its marks (but they are not part of the staff so fine). That freshen up initiative is very important to keep the standard on high level as one would expect from a Sofitel property. I can't wait to come back, hopefully to a slightly improved gym equipment which is especially relevant during a rainy season :)

Overall I was not happy with Sofitel this is my third visit all with some friends but every time I come here they refuse me for upgrade. This time I have to call for the manager who’s very nice no questions ask just give me upgrade without any hassle. I believe the employees need more training to treat customers like customers This not the first time I am not bagging for nothing this is my right Please next time treat customers better. Thank you

I get a room with someone else's food in the fridge. Every evening the floor lamp and the socket near the bed stop working. They don't bring me soap (I stayed for a week) and for the third day they haven't poured shower gel. The paper napkins in the bathroom in the room ran out 4 days ago. The breakfasts are excellent
