Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa

Very charming hotel, excellent location, in the heart of Queenstown. Beautiful lobby. Wonderful breakfast spread in the mornings. Walking distance to restaurants, a supermarket, pharmacy, etc. The ski shops and transportation to ski fields are just across the street. Front desk manager Nico made me feel very welcome. I had minor issues with a couple of things in my room (slamming door due to poorly adjusted closer, dodgy room safe, bathroom sink tap that is complicated to operate) but overall, it was a very good stay.

Fantastic hotel right in the middle of town. 2 minute walk to the waterfront and the ski centre right across the road. Stayed in a junior suite with lounge access so was looked after like a silk worm. Staff were great and the buffet breakfast was everything you need.

Sofitel Queenstown was amazing!! True 5 star service from start to finish, and the furnishings and interior was so nice and fancy. The staff we're friendly and helpful in all departments, especially the lady who checked us in on arrival, didn't get her name but she was very friendly and helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the fresh juice was incredible. The room was lovely with views looking up at the Gondala. The bed was super comfy as they always are at Sofitel hotels, and the mini bar selection was the best I have seen in a long time. The restaurant was delicious and the wagu was perfect. I spent 15 years in hotel industry and this hotel and the service makes me want to get back into hotels. I love Queenstown and could easily live here and work, maybe one day. Thanks again Sofitel team and also thanks for the sweets and card on arrival for our anniversary, it was lovely. Cheers, Tim
