This hotel is a gem in Luxor. There, we had one of the most splendid moments in our trip in Egypt. Of course Ahmed was the best thing in this hotel. He was always there for us with a smile and kindness. The whole staff was kind and friendly. The only thing I would suggest is to redefine the menu in the restaurants and bars. They definitely can do better than what they have now.
Wonderful antique hotel, very much style from old times, established in the year 1886. Historical heritage well kept, inclusive old fashioned service. Very much appreciated! Great garden, big pool, our children liked very much! Food a little bit expensive, but excellent. Large breakfast buffet. Wonderful views to the Nil river.
My friends and I (all females) loved, LOVED our stay at the Winter Palace! My friend and I lost our luggage, and the Winter Palace concierges followed up with the airline on behalf until they delivered our luggage. The process was much easier and smoother than it would have been if we had tried to do it ourselves. Also, the excursions we booked through the hotel were fantastic! Our tour guide through the temples and Valley of the Kings and Queens — Jackie — was so smart and kind. We really enjoyed our experience. Overall, the staff at the hotel are so kind and amazing. Everything felt personalized and by the end, we didn’t want to leave.
