Perfect if you have a car and working while on vacation. The rooms are very big, clean, simple and functional. The place is quiet, accessible and with exclussive basement parking. The hotel has an exellent restautant, but there's also a 711, pizza place with great halo halo, and a laundry place in the same building. There's a gas station and a gym in front. Theres a great bakery nearby, an autoshop, and a pasalubong center. Basically everything you need. Sure, its a little far from the tourist spots but if you have a car, that doesnt really matter-the convinience of not having to worry about parking, wifi, 24 hr store, laundry, buying all the pasalubong you need just nearby makes up for its proximity. Awesome place!
Great room size, nearby 7/11, merrymart, laundry, pharmacy, and some restaurants. The lobby is also big, beds are also nice. There's Netflix and Cable TV, wifi connection is also good. There is also no credit card payment option, even when booked through online. Payment is done via GCash, Bank Transfer, and Cash transactions only. Downside is that it may be difficult at times to get a taxi from the hotel, but aside from that, everything was good.
The receptionist working the night shift was amazing, even spoke some German which was impressive. At first, they put us in a family room (due to the double rooms being booked out), but they let us move to a cheaper double room the next day, costing 2150 PHP per night. One downside was that the rooms didn’t have AC. The halls were cool, but the rooms got a bit too warm, even with the windows open. Also, the mattress in the family room wasn’t great, but the one in the double room was way more comfy. A refrigerator and maybe even a microwave would have been nice. There is a waterdispenser in the hallway. The TV has Netflix and Android TV. Bathrooms were good, particularly liked the large shower with the water heater. That’s always good to have in Asia, because very often the hot and cold water doesn’t mix, so you only get hot or cold water without a water heater. The hotel did mess up during the power outage. Even though they had a generator, they couldn’t get it to work because of some cabling issue, which meant no power. They gave us a nightlight, but it died after one day. Unfortunately the power outage lasted over two days and during that time they didn’t get someone to fix the generator. When I asked for a discount due to the power situation, they said they’d give us a measly 10% off. But then, they somehow ended up calculating only a 5% discount on our bill. I brought it up when checking out and they did sort it out, giving us the difference back. A bit annoying to have to point that out, but at least they made it right. Overall, for the price, you’re getting a pretty decent stay.
