PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a moment to stop at their rooftop if you’re visiting Cartagena. I proposed to my now fiancee here and the staff was so amazing and kind to us. A couple days later, we stop here again and the bartender, Marlon, immediately recognized us and greeted us like a longtime friend. The remainder of the night was spent having drinks with amazing service from Marlon, Yulian, and Daniel. If you’re looking for a rooftop with great service, and delicious food and drinks, the rooftop at Sophia hotel is the place to go! 10000000000000/10 recommend this place!!
The rooms and location were perfect but the front desk service, location and views made it for me! Absolutely the best front desk ever! I'm a non-Spanish speaker and legitimately they made my trip easier and more pleasant.
We stayed here for our wedding trip and it was the best decision. We got the suite which I had beautiful views of the city and was right next to the amazing rooftop!! The staff, the location, and the service were the best we’ve ever had and highly recommend! Another great part is that it’s so close to everything in El Centro Cartagena and not far from Getsemani, but it is in a quiet corner of La Plaza de Aduana so you can sleep at night.
