Sosuite at Independence Lofts

We were only in town for one night to see a doctor out of state. It was in a good location with a quick Uber ride to a great dinner experience. It was easy to check in. The suite was nice, well provisioned and clean, for the most part. Given the large windows that previous guests might open, and the suite being next to the trash room, a couple flies got in and were a little annoying. Equipping the suite with a fly swatter would be a good idea. Also, when we took the coffee cups out to use they look like they had been wet and then wiped down with a very linty cloth so they didn't look clean. We had brought our own cups and used those. Overall, a great experience and we will book here again without hesitation.

Upon arriving we entered our gate code and everything worked smoothly. Parking was very tight. The room had an amazing view, and was perfect for our trip- but- bring ear plugs. The walls are thin and we could hear movies, conversations, babies, you name it. Barely any sleep. Also, our door was wide open when we arrived and there was no shower gel- I wouldve rated it higher if we didn't have little problems. Really great location and view though!

This is not a traditional hotel...you are supposed to receive a door code to the front door and then another code to your room ahead of checkin. I booked through Chase and did not receive those things, so I had to spend quite a bit of time on the phone when we arrived. There is a security-type person at a front desk, but the building is for Sosuite, as well as apartments. While the room was VERY clean and well appointed, the building was really filthy. The stairwell up to the top floor was truly disgusting, as was the hallway to the room. However...the view was lovely, it was nice having a washer and dryer and little kitchen. The water pressure wasn't great. I wouldn't stay here again.
