I recently stayed at a villa with a private pool at this hotel, and it was an amazing experience. The location is beautiful and the villa itself is incredibly cozy. It's quite secluded, situated right in the midst of nature, so it's about a 30-minute drive to the nearest shops and beach. The house is beautiful, with great facilities, a lovely garden, and a fantastic pool. There aren't many people in the area or at the hotel, which was perfect for us. This is the best hotel I have ever visited in Crete. Highly recommended!
Our stay at the hotel was the best during our trip. In the beginning, the booking platform (trip.com) has messed up our booking and cancel it one night before our arrival without our information. The hotel greatly assisted us, offered some lemonade or stay at the pool area and further supported us when talking to the platform while the platform wanted to send us elsewhere. We totally got relaxed vibes and could shut down in the hotel and on the island. The suite was spacy, with a big balcony. Everything was in a good condition. The hotel meet our special request such as parking space when the initial space was full or at the breakfast buffet. Overall, it was a great stay. I want to highlight the warm, welcoming and friendly staff , i.e. in reception but in the whole hotel. Thank you! If we return to Crete, certainly stay again at the same hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at Spilia Village, a beautiful and peaceful place in Crete. Our suite was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a canopy bed, large bathroom, and a separate living area. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was definitely needed during the consistently warm days. The pool area, with its three different pools, was a great place to relax and never felt crowded. We opted for the half board option: the breakfast buffet offered plenty of high-quality choices, and the à la carte dinner was always excellent. However, if you’re staying for more than a week, we’d recommend considering bed & breakfast instead, as the menu might feel a bit repetitive over time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One small downside was the pace in the restaurant: the courses were served too quickly, and plates were sometimes taken away while we were still eating. It made us feel a bit rushed. The drink prices were on the high side (€5 for a bottle of water), but this was the only thing we found overpriced. A very nice touch was the breakfast package we received on the morning of our early departure – we really appreciated that! All in all, Spilia Village offers quality, peace, and charm. We had an amazing experience!
