Staybridge Suites Newcastle

My family and I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites by IHG and had a fantastic experience overall. The hotel offered a warm, welcoming atmosphere with spacious, well-equipped suites that felt more like a home than a hotel room. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile, particularly Jenny. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast, which featured a generous selection of hot and cold items. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, from fresh fruit and pastries to scrambled eggs and make-your-own waffles. The only minor downside was that the sausages were slightly overcooked and dry. Also, the room was somewhat clean; there was a dirty sock behind the bedside cabinet, but this didn’t take away from the overall quality of the meal and reception. I’d highly recommend this hotel for both short and extended stays.

Great place. Free sparkling water from the tap. Rooms were super clean. The whole hotel smelled super nice. They even had some toys and books for children that you borrow for free.

The staff went above and beyond with every interaction, greeting me and my daughter by our names anticipating our needs, and always offering a smile that felt sincere, not scripted. What sets this hotel apart is the perfect balance it strikes between comfort and luxury. It’s the kind of place where you can kick off your shoes, relax completely, and still feel like you're living in understated opulence.
