Seamless check-in and check-out experience. The place is clean, neat, and feels more like an upscale hotel than a typical aparthotel. The staff were helpful and attentive — I had a minor issue with the electricity in my room, and it was resolved immediately. Management were present, approachable, and welcoming of any suggestions. The location is fantastic, and most importantly, the rooms are impressively spacious. While the bathrooms are on the smaller side, it wasn’t an issue for me. I also appreciated the laundry room with complimentary detergent — a thoughtful touch for longer stays. And the little outdoor space is lovely for relaxing or reading your favourite book. Highly recommended!
Title: Perfect stay in Dublin – Excellent staff and location! Review: I had an amazing experience at Staycity Dublin City Centre. The hotel is modern, clean, and extremely well located – right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I really appreciated the thoughtful details that made it feel like a home away from home. The staff were absolutely outstanding – always friendly, helpful, and professional. A special thanks to Viny, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Being Brazilian myself, it was a pleasant surprise to be welcomed by someone who speaks my language and goes the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable. Another great advantage is the free and secure luggage storage, which was very convenient both before check-in and after check-out. I highly recommend Staycity Dublin City Centre and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dublin.
Stayed at this hotel with my grandmother in June this year. The service checking in and during our stay was great. The staff is very nice and helped us with a number of questions and a few requests like a room change for us. The room we stayed in was perfect for our needs. It was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We were really happy with it. Breakfast is available, and honestly quite good value. I would rate it higher, but there is a drawback. Specifically in dealing with a lost item. My grandmother accidentally left her e-reader in the room. We are sure of this, as it never the room during our short stay and was used during it. Calling the desk can be difficult. The phone will ring for a long time with no answer, and will leave you to making multiple calls to get through. When we called and got an answer from the front desk, we were told that the no item was reported missing from the room, but that they would check with the staff. I was told to call back "in 30 minutes" for an update. When I called back I was unable to get through. I ended up calling back much later, and got someone different who wasn't aware of the situation, but also told me that there was nothing reported missing. I asked if they could please re-confirm or do something, as we know it was last in the room. I was told email them about the situation. I sent an email and a follow up, but have not received any answers. I know that this isn't the most serious of situations, and that ultimately we shouldn't have left it. But this has shined a light on a drawback when staying here, which is that the operation is lacking in a robust staff with services sufficient enough to handle situations like these. Things get lost during travel all the time, but the response and effort in helping has been ultimately disappointing.
