Sudima Christchurch Airport

Stayed two nights mid June 2025. Impeccable service from start to end. In room service great (see robot delivery!) Breakfast and dinner were awesome. Free shuttle to airport, and a very helpful driver (sorry missed his name). Highly recommended!

10/06/2025 Updated After traveling around New Zealand for a month, I came to a conclusion — it’s not that all New Zealanders are too friendly, it’s that the staff at Sudima are exceptionally friendly. — We visited during the off-season, and it was our very first time setting foot in New Zealand. We were truly amazed — everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly. The front desk staff kindly upgraded our room and even offered us a $40 credit that we could use at the hotel’s restaurant for both food and drinks. They also proactively asked if we needed to store our luggage, which was very thoughtful. The room itself was spotlessly clean, cozy, and comfortable. There are also some restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making the location very convenient. Overall, the entire experience was absolutely wonderful! The staff at the restaurant downstairs were also amazing. Even though we weren’t dining during regular meal hours and there were only limited menu options available, every dish was still carefully prepared and made with great attention to detail. If we ever need to fly through Christchurch Airport again, we would definitely choose to stay here. Thank you all so much — please continue to keep up the great work! We truly hope more hotels and staff could be like this.

Flew in at midnight, the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful throughout our short stay. The room was comfortable - however if the website had included photos of the bathroom we would have chosen a different option. The toilet was behind the door in a corner & basically unable to be used by anyone not small or average height. I would stay here again - but I would request photos of the bathroom first! Location is great, breakfast was great, staff were great.
