An absolutely wonderful retreat to enjoy Sun Moon Lake overnight. The leisure centre was great and offered electric bikes for rent, as well as other entertainment for a quiet relaxing evening. We loved the outdoor pool and hot spring baths, as well as our private onsen in the room. The aroma spa massage and the stone spa were both highlights of the experience and the buffet restaurant dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations with really great food. Fantastic amenities, friendly helpful staff and just a great experience all around!
We didn't stay overnight here, but we were able to book a private hot spring room for 2 hours for $1900NT. Beautiful space, they provide tea and coffee and cookies. Very clean and relaxing.
We chose this hotel because it was a little cheaper than the ones overlooking the lake and looked a lot more modern. We walked from the bus stop about 8 minutes to the hotel. The road is busy, but the distance is short. We arrived a little early and spent some time in the recreation area. There are three giant TVs and video game systems. I also had a massage at the spa which was nice. Our room was clean and plush with a nice mountain view. The walk into the town area is easy. Nearby restaurants are excellent. Breakfast buffet was average, but had a lot of options.
