Svarga Resort Lombok

Super value for money! The resort is stunning, our rooms were very clean, staff is very friendly. Beautiful architecture and interior design! We had such a good rest here after hiking for 2 days! The only downside is that their laundry services here tend to be expensive, but alls good as we were able to find cheaper alternatives nearby!

Was a bit hesitant to visit after reading all the negative reviews, but decided to go ahead. Amazing visit to say the least. Checked in at around half 4 and got my room at 5. The suite with a private swimming pool was stunning with a double bed, large TV, couch and bathroom. The pool was a decent size, however extremely cold. The public pool was amazing, not very crowded and the water was warm enough. However, it seems the hotel has a lizard problem as I spotted many lizards during my stay. It didn't bother me in the slightest. Staff were extremely helpful and not a time went past where a staff walked past me and didn't greet me. Overall, im happy I continued my plans and stayed at the hotel as it was truly an amazing experience!

NIGHTMARES!!!!! We got to the hotel to check in for what was meant to be a 5 nights booking to be told there was no booking made for us. So 2 months ago I made a booking through their website only to be told that they didn’t entered it manually so no booking was made (your mistake right????). Of course the hotel was fully booked. After two hours of waiting they offered us to rebook us to another hotel for the night and that we would come back the next day and do 4 nights at Svarga. We agreed because what else could we have done? It’s peak season here and hardly anywhere else had availability for us and especially not at the price we booked 2 months ago. So we paid for 5 nights at Svarga. Then they took us to the other hotel… the Montana … gross hotel. Disgusting. Absolutely nothing like Svarga of course. But we still paid the same amount of money than if we had stayed at Svarga that first night. Fast forward to the next day. We were told we would be picked up at 12 from the Montana to go back to Svarga. We eventually got picked up at 12:33 after many calls and messages from my side. So they got it all wrong the day before and they can’t even get it right and pick us up on time???? So we have now waisted 24 hours of our holidays!!!!!! They did offered us lunch on the second day at their restaurant (which to be fair wasn’t super nice and very expensive we would have never eaten there if not complimentary) and a “supposedly” room upgrade. From not having any seating area in the garden we now had some wow wow !!!!!! Anyway we’ve stayed for the 4 nights. You need to know there is only 6 sun beds at the pool so I suggest you wake up VERY early if you wanna lay there. We don’t recommend staying at Svarga. The whole situation has been POORLY managed by the staff.
