Svatma A Luxury Heritage Resort

Excellent ambience & spacious rooms with every facility well thought out. Comfortable bed with separate day time seating area. Morning breakfast was an excellent spread and was very tasty. Especially their in-house garlic & herbs butter. Fresh cut fruit variety was good with made on order south Indian items served to the table. Breakfast area staff provided fantastic service. Overall spacious and well maintained property with lots of greenery. I found room food service to be expensive. Front office staff could provide better service, lack customer skills. Parking can be little dark and busy if arriving/ checking in late.

Honest review of the place. Service - Basic but polite. When you're used to luxury brands pampering you here they seemed to constantly express regret for lack of amenities! Food - Very happy that it's a vegetarian property barring the use of egg at breakfast. Menu had a good variety - Continental, North Indian and of course South Indian! Ambience - The property has some old World charm but honestly i believe it's overpriced for the room type. The common areas are well done and i requested a tour of the Heritage block - and that seems to be worth it's price!! Overall i felt ripped off but will go back if i get a better deal!

My experience at Svatma was just short of horrible! They have created good infrastructure , though a small place, but created very tastefully. But the staff at the hotel is totally untrained. They could not serve me good morning tea during my 3 day stay here. The housekeeping staff was not professional, they did not clean the room properly nor did they replenish the toiletries and tea / milk sachets in the room. The staff of Svatma needs to be trained. The hotel does not have a driver's room and so our driver had to face a lot of difficulty. The bathroom for the driver was also very dirty. Overall, my experience at Svatma was not up to the mark against the amount they charged.
