Sweet Home Hotel

Very nice staff, we were given a bottle of water upon arrival. The rooms are very spacious for two. Two studying desks, an incredibly large closet, a TV and a refrigerator... although I still don't understand how it works. We liked it here, but the neighbors loved it even more! Unfortunately, they moaned too loudly, and I couldn't fall asleep. Apart from the thin walls, great place for the price!

Small rooms. Showers are broken

Rooms and location are okay for the price, BUT 1. Service is poor : we asked for a laundry service for a few clothes, were told they would be ready the next day. We asked for the price, they said 300 to 500. Next day we collect our clothes, still wet, and they ask for 5000. Either the person made a mistake the previous day or they were trying to rip us off, we argued for a while that this was not what we had agreed on and that if we had known it was that price we would never had agreed to it. Then they tried arguing that it was in fact 300 per item, which made no sense considering the number of items. Then they tried to make us feel bad for making them wash our underwear, not sure what this was about but yeah in a bag of laundry you can often find underwear and socks 😅 and finally a cleaning lady jumped in the conversation and they tried to be provocative by implying we did not have enough money to pay for it and as a favor to us poor peasants they would not make us pay. I mean as westerners traveling in central Asia, I think they were aware of the amount it represents in our local currency… 2. Bedbugs. Everywhere. In the corridors, in the rooms, if we had not paid the second night in advance we definitely would have left asap ! Weird experience overall 🤷🏻‍♀️
