Hotel Restaurant 't Goude Hooft has quickly become one of my top choices for dining in The Hague—especially when I’m craving high-quality Dutch cuisine. The setting is elegant yet inviting, with a charming blend of classic and contemporary design that makes it ideal for both casual meals and more special occasions. The menu features refined Dutch dishes with a modern twist, and I can confidently say it’s some of the best Dutch cuisine I’ve had in the city. Every dish I’ve tried has been thoughtfully prepared, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether you go for a traditional meat dish, seafood, or a seasonal special, the quality is consistently excellent. While the staff may not be the warmest in tone, they are certainly efficient and professional, and the service runs smoothly—even when the restaurant is busy. It’s clear that they are experienced and focused on providing a well-organized dining experience. I highly recommend 't Goude Hooft to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Dutch food in a lovely setting. It’s also worth noting that the location is ideal, right in the heart of the city, which makes it a convenient choice for locals and visitors alike. Whether for lunch, dinner, or a relaxed drink on their beautiful terrace, I always leave fully satisfied. A true gem for Dutch cuisine in The Hague.
Excellent place for a good breakfast. I suggest ordering the breakfast for two — it includes bread, juice, coffee, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, and waffles. It’s a real breakfast treat! The staff is very friendly, and it’s a perfect spot to enjoy the summer morning sun
I am making this review just for the restaurant. The place is very nice with a very cool atmosphere. The food was well presented and delicious. The problem was that it came out completely cold. It took one hour for the food to be served. When you have one day to tour the city, one hour is killing the day. The server was not very nice either
