TAI Urban Resort

During our recent stay in Kaohsiung, we had the pleasure of experiencing a new hotel called TAI Urban Resort located conveniently close to Kaohsiung Port and the iconic 85 Sky Tower. The hotel, with its book-themed decor, provided a unique and comforting ambiance that made our stay truly memorable. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The book-themed design was evident throughout the hotel, with cozy reading nooks and literary quotes adorning the walls. This thoughtful decor created a serene environment, perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a day of exploring the city. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, continuing the book theme with elegant touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room also featured modern amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's infinity pool. Located in the middle of the building, the pool offered breathtaking views of Kaohsiung Port and the 85 Sky Tower. Swimming in the infinity pool while taking in the stunning cityscape was an unforgettable experience. The pool area also had comfortable lounge chairs and a bar, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, our stay at this new hotel TAI Urban Resort it was exceptional. The combination of the comforting book theme, the amazing atmosphere, and the stunning infinity pool and views made it a standout choice for anyone visiting Kaohsiung. We highly recommend it for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel. Beautiful spacious room. Comfortable stay. Great view. Peaceful stay. Well designed interior. Delicious breakfast. One down side if any is that I dropped an earring under the bed, when I looked down under the bed, it was very dusty and quite dirty.

Not a walkable location. They only have limited room for valet but it is not first come first serve, they will turn away guests even when they have space available because they are anticipating a busy night and will tell you to park your own can in the basement instead. The gym is shared with locals who are members and the pool maybe be very windy because it is outdoors so it depends on the weather if you can swim. To get to your room you have to take two separate elevators and the wait is often 5 minutes or more per elevator, which doesn’t seem too long but adds up when you are in a rush. You cannot order food to your door and you have to make the trip to the 25th floor then down to the 1st floor then back to the 25th and then walk to a different set of elevators then go to your floor. Overall it seems you are better off staying a luxury brand nearby for the same price or cheaper.
