Spacious rooms and suites. Big, comfortable pool. Good spa with excellent massage therapists. Tasty breakfasts with enough variety. The location is quite decent — there are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s possible to walk to the beach. I also want to highlight the reception staff. I made a mistake with my booking and chose the wrong dates. It happened around Silent Day, but despite the holiday, they responded quickly and helped me fix everything. Really appreciated their flexibility and support. The only downside — the hotel feels slightly overpriced for what it offers.
We had a great time at Taksu Sanur Hotel. The staff is super friendly and the front desk is superb. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The room is big. Comfy bed. Location was really good. 10 min waking from the beach, 10-15 minutes walk for a Main Street with restaurants. I would definitely recommend the hotel
For the price, this hotel offers very decent value — but there are a few issues that should be addressed. Beds were comfortable and clean, but unfortunately, the bed linens consistently had a strong musty smell — like damp laundry that hasn’t dried properly. Even after requesting a change, the issue remained. Both rooms we stayed in had the same problem. The showers were also clogged with limescale, so the water barely came out of some of the holes. I would strongly recommend that the bathrooms be deep-cleaned with vinegar or descaling products. We were first placed on the ground floor, where it was nearly impossible to rest during the day or sleep before 10 p.m. due to noise from the courtyard, pool, and events. After mentioning it to reception, we were kindly upgraded to a room on the third floor, which was much quieter — a gesture I deeply appreciated. Breakfast was simple: filter coffee, basic pastries, and a few basic items. Offering a plant-based milk option would be a great improvement for guests with lactose intolerance. Another widely mentioned issue in reviews — and yes, it is true — is that pool loungers are “reserved” with towels as early as 7 a.m., and you won't find any available spots if you show up later. We ended up not using the pool at all because of this. Staff were kind and helpful, but this is something I found to be the norm across Bali — it speaks more to the kindness of the Balinese people in general than anything specific to this property. In summary: a fair stay with excellent service, but rooms need better maintenance, and the pool situation needs a clear and enforced policy. For the price, though, you really can’t ask for much more.
