Tanoa Tusitala Hotel

We loved staying here after our cycle tour. Rooms were well equipped. Fia fia night was fun. Pool was great. Breakfast was superb, definitely five star. The staff made us feel really welcome. And the garden supply fresh salads and vegetables. Will definitely come again.

We're eating in the bar / dining area at time of this review....if you enjoy smelling other people's cigarette smoke while you eat you'll like it here....however, we don't! And would recommend the smokers hut be moved further away from the dining area.

My sister and i stayed here at last minute transferring from another hotel as we couldn't go to Savaii as planned during our trip this month of June. For the price I paid I expected more for 2 nights I paid 562 nzd. The staff seem like they don't want to be there and that if you ask them a question you're being a nuisance to them, besides the nice Fijian man that welcomes people. Wifi was not even working for a hotel in town area 😒 we had better wifi at Sheraton resort Mulifanua it was very fast. The Gym was so hot and stuffy the air con doesn't really work properly in there. The only thing I enjoyed was the swimming pool. The food from the fiafia night was bit meh. The breakfast wasnt that great not nuch in way of Samoan breakfast food eg vaisalo, Supoesi and panikeke like simple stuff they had cereal and food that i would not class as breakfast food there as well. Maybe the chef needs to have more training cos the food wasn't that good tbh. Sausages looked like they were those American canned sausages. Will not be staying here again so much hype for a below average experience.
