Absolutely love this place. This was my fourth year going and every time is better than the last. The food is high quality and the wine selection is impressive. Above all the staff make you feel like family. It has been the same staff year after year, which always says a lot.
Disturbingly loud cars pass frequently, the shower hot water didn’t work for my room, and the power went out for around 15 minutes twice in two days. Room service made the beds and delivered fresh towels while I was out, which was nice.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel. The breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, which is inconvenient if you have early plans. The staff was consistently unhelpful and unfriendly, and the overall service felt cold. Prices for food and drinks were far too high for the quality offered—definitely not worth it. On top of that, the hotel is under renovation, so there’s constant construction noise throughout the day. Between the noise, the poor service, and the inflated costs, this was a disappointing stay from start to finish.
