This is an unmanned hotel, before you arrive you are given 3 different codes to enter (front door, which we found fiddly but they gave good instructions) a second door and your room door. We didn’t realise when booking that we didn’t have our own bathroom (our mistake!) So just look out for that when booking. Rooms were clean and nice, no mirror in our room though which would be a nice extra touch. There is no parking but there are a few near by car parks and on street parking, about a 5 minute drive for the centre.
Decent little hotel, room was clean and tidy. Free WiFi and TV. Not alot of storage for clothes and only 2 hangers. Shower wasn't too bad. 3 double plug sockets in the room if you need to charge stuff. Would use again if I was coming back to Chester.
When we booked this place we knew it wouldn't luxurious but it wasn't even basic! We had to share a bathroom that had no hand-wash, extra loo roll or even plugs to pop your hair dryer in! Our room had no mirrors, two tiny towels and a very uncomfortable bed. The only reason it gets one star is because you have to put one....
