The Bellwood Manor

Unforgettable night - you have to experience this place! We stayed in fine hotels all around Sri Lanka but our 1 night stay at The Bellwood Manor was unique. The location is beautiful, but it was the welcome and attention from the staff that was next level, paired with the beauty of this boutique hotel with only a few rooms ... we literally felt like royalty! The manor is gorgeous - the library, snooker room and the private pool and sauna (definitely book a slot it’s complimentary and so lovely!). I also had a massage in the spa which was nice and the therapist was so welcoming and kind. As for dining, the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and in the evening we had the six course dinner. Every dish was incredible - like mind blowingly good. The only dish that wasn’t was our mains strangely enough, which were fine but obviously less wow (we wondered if the chef had quickly pulled it together because we were vegetarian - would suggest charging less for veggie option anyway). All up definitely a 5 star experience. Thank you for a memorable stay ❤️

It was clear that great care and passion went into every course, making dining here a memorable delight. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect blend of exquisite surroundings, outstanding food, and warm, helpful service. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, but it was such a great experience. The hospitality was truly the best I’ve ever seen. Every staff member we met had a big smile and was so friendly. Even though it was a short visit, it was a memorable one. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and friendly place to stay.
