Beautiful and clean hotel. The interior designing was spectacular. It is located in Aurora, CO which was only 20 minutes drive to Denver. The neighborhood was cute and quiet. The restaurant at the hotel had great food for kids and adults, we ate there every morning! Staff and service was warm and welcoming! We will definitely be coming back.
Loved staying here! What a wonderful place with attention to detail at every turn:-). I appreciate them making accommodations for the room being ready a bit earlier! The hotel is simply beautiful with a easy drive everywhere. Also, 3 parking options which is awesome these days. The vibe in the restaurant and bar area is so chill and relaxing and the breakfast was INCREDIBLE!
I have stayed here 8 times, and will stay a few more times over the next several weeks. My experience varies each time I visit. I'm a titanium preferred rewards member, but have very rarely received any of the perks of membership. Sometimes I get the additional 'treat' and 'snack' that comes with membership (such as the canvas bag) but other times nothing. Additionally, I've never been upgraded, which is odd given I'm in the highest tier of their rewards program (and have had upgrades at other iprefer hotels). This may sound like a ridiculous complaint, but as someone who travels weekly and thus is away from family (and consistently stays at i prefer hotels), the little details in recognizing loyalty/membership go a long way to make traveling a bit less tiring. I also directly asked if there were any upgrades available and I was told I wouldn't be able to stay in the same room, but when looking online, there's certainly availability for upgraded rooms for the duration of my stay (8 nights). The rooms are decorated nicely, but there is a stark difference between the 'creme' rooms and the wood-paneled rooms (which are far better). Overall service is fine, but again, as someone who travels weekly, the perks really do make a difference when you're away from home, so it's a bit off-putting when the perks you're 'guaranteed' aren't fulfilled. Wish there was more consistency here. Last week when I stayed, there were some valet problems with getting the car picked up in a timely manner (one time waited 18 minutes after calling for the car at 6:20 am). That is rare, and usually the valet team is speedy, but it can be frustrating when you're the only person waiting for the valet and it still takes 20 minutes, which can impact your morning plans. Gym is nice. Room service is hit and miss - there are a few times I have stayed where there was no room service for a day or two in a room, but the last two times I've stayed the room has been serviced daily. Overall it's a nice hotel and it's convenient for those needing access to the hospital. If the experience was more consistent across each of the trips, I would give almost 5 stars (rooms would remain 3-4 due to the quality difference, even though the rooms are charged at the same rate).
