The Brehon Hotel & Spa

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too big or small for them. Hotel room was very large , and the views were amazing. The room had everything you could need and more. Gentleman playing the piano in the lobby of the hotel was a lovely touch. This was our second stay at this hotel in the last 12 months , i would highly recommend .

Our wedding reception at The Brehon Hotel in Killarney was absolutely perfect! From the moment we booked, we knew we’d made the right decision. The facilities were top-class, and the outside area for our drinks reception was gorgeous. It meant the world to us that the wedding team made it all possible. The entire team, especially Caitríona, Andreia, Leah & Emma, went above and beyond to make our day special. The staff on the day were exceptional, and we can’t thank them enough. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the venue, and we’re thrilled with how everything went. A truly top-class experience!

We were really disappointed with our stay, especially considering how much we paid for three nights. The rooms and hallways are very outdated and had a strange, unpleasant smell that never went away. We informed the staff, but nothing was done to fix the issue. Even worse, the air conditioning in both of our rooms wasn’t working, making it feel like we were sleeping in a sauna. It was extremely uncomfortable and made it hard to rest. The only decent part of the hotel is the lobby. The room sizes are generous, but that alone doesn’t make up for the overall condition and lack of comfort. This hotel does not meet the standards of a four-star property—not even close. Would not recommend based on our experience.
