The hotel was great, staff was friendly and breakfast buffet had many options. The rooftop bar and restaurant was spectacular and the wait staff took excellent care of me. Also the service staff for breakfast including the hostess' were very friendly and attentive. On the negative the shower took a while to get hot...just have to let it run but be careful, the shower floor gets very slippery. The only other negative was the bartender at the main floor bar took 10 minutes to even acknowledge me, and I was the only person at the bar, he seemed fairly disinterested in my being there and didn't even check back after I received my food, ultimately to get what I needed. Still giving 5 stars for service because all except the mentioned bartender were excellent.
The. Breakfast was exquisite and the staff were all very courteous & warm especially Candice. Also, of notable mention would be Antonio and the rest of the morning staff. Overall my entire stay so far, after 17 years away, has been fantastic.
Has an excellent stay at the Brix. Got upgraded to a lovely island view room overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was awesome with a great mix of local and international dishes. Location was convenient to access Port of Spain and environs. Staff was pleasant for the most part.
