The hotel was great, staff was friendly and breakfast buffet had many options. The rooftop bar and restaurant was spectacular and the wait staff took excellent care of me. Also the service staff for breakfast including the hostess' were very friendly and attentive. On the negative the shower took a while to get hot...just have to let it run but be careful, the shower floor gets very slippery. The only other negative was the bartender at the main floor bar took 10 minutes to even acknowledge me, and I was the only person at the bar, he seemed fairly disinterested in my being there and didn't even check back after I received my food, ultimately to get what I needed. Still giving 5 stars for service because all except the mentioned bartender were excellent.

The. Breakfast was exquisite and the staff were all very courteous & warm especially Candice. Also, of notable mention would be Antonio and the rest of the morning staff. Overall my entire stay so far, after 17 years away, has been fantastic.

Stayed at hotel with family on our way to Tobago for 2 nights, 2 rooms. Check in was poor, no welcome, no explanation of services. Had dinner on roof top one night. The wine we ordered which was on the menu was not in stock. Took our waitress 10 minutes to tell us. No apology. We know it was a roof top bar but chairs were wet, sat in them with no warning, has to go back to room to change. Worst of all the security deposits we put on rooms were both charged to account. We has to call to get funds returned to us, again no apology. Would not recommend staying at the Marriott.
