The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore

Wow, this hotel is a gem! We stayed in one of the Heritage Rooms and loved it — beautifully designed with balcony access that still kept us cool and comfortable. The room was a perfect blend of luxury and charm. The bathroom was well-appointed with a bidet toilet, which was a great touch. The only slight drawback was the shower setup — having three different shower heads was a bit confusing to figure out at first. While the entrance to our room wasn’t as grand as expected and slightly diminished the initial wow factor, the overall experience more than made up for it. Breakfast was absolutely superb, both in terms of selection and setting. The restaurant was elegant, and the service was top-notch. Special thanks to Ying Lin, who warmly welcomed us and showed us to our room. Cheryl, the Lady in Red, came by during breakfast to check on our stay — a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch. The concierge team was also incredibly helpful, assisting me with some printing and scanning needs. This hotel is now firmly one of my favorites — steeped in history, full of character, and with service that truly shines.

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed in Singapore! The rooms see very spacious and luxurious. The toilet and bath area are separated, the bathtub is huge. The staff are very attentive and was helpful throughout our stay. Overall a very pleasant experience staying here !

This hotel is amazing. Such a quaint nostalgic atmosphere on a par with Raffles and with the best service you can find. The staff are incredible from the moment you arrive to the reception team and the hospitality team. So very attentive, informative and extremely helpful. You are treated like royalty. The ladies in red do a wonderful job and make you feel like you are family. It is a great location with shops and transport close by. I highly recommend staying here and will be back.
