First, I want to give a shoutout to Ms. Cecile and Ms. Nemieh. They work at the front desk and they are extremely nice! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasing. I also want to thank them because my "homecoming surprise" was a success because of them. The room we were placed in was really nice. It was on the top floor with a beautiful view of the city and mountains. The linens were clean, bed was comfy and most importantly, the bathroom was clean. The room has a safe and a mini fridge. It also has a shelving unit to store clothes and things. Our room has an electric kettle which was extremely nice because we bought some instant coffee and was able to enjoy that. The hotel is very walkable from eateries, malls and pharmacies. The cons: -They have hot shower but it's not like a steady flow. 3-5 minutes and I was out of hot water. LOL! I learned really fast! -No comforter. If it gets cold at night, you only have the thin bed sheet to cover you up so don't turn that AC too low. -You get 1 card key and that card key powers the room. When you have to leave the room, it turns the electricity off so you come back to a hot room. -The hotel hallways gets very hot during the day as well. No AC in the hallways. -The rooms we were in did not have remote control for the TV or AC but the ladies at the front desk solved our issue. They also reset the safe so I could use it. -Some rooms do not have windows. The cons are really nothing if you are local but if you are a foreigner who are used to the western luxuries, it is something to consider. I actually stayed in a hotel like this in Cancun, Mexico which was was also a budget hotel. Other than that, our experience was great. Like I said, the customer service was superb! They were very accomodating. The food at the hotel was good too. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again City Pod Hotel Staff for our wonderful stay!

No bidet. Only two outlets provided in the family room good for 4. No tables. Worst internet connection. Personal refrigerator on the floor. Too expensive breakfast.. worst parking area. Never again.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The parking is poorly managed and unfair. Even though we arrived first, they gave priority to someone else and even blocked parking spaces using chairs. When we checked in, they said parking was on a first-come, first-served basis, but that clearly wasn’t followed. We booked for multiple nights expecting decent service, but the experience was disappointing. During breakfast—which was included in our stay—we called ahead to place our order and were told we were second on the list. Despite that, other guests were served before us. We followed up twice about our food, and instead of an apology for the delay, the staff just told us they had a lot of guests. That’s not an excuse—they can clearly anticipate the number of guests ahead of time and prepare accordingly. In the end, we waited over an hour just to get our food. The room was also lacking basic necessities. There was no table inside for guests who need to work or eat, no bidet in the bathroom, and not even a complimentary toothbrush. Television not working. The staff were generally rude and unaccommodating. The only person who showed any professionalism and kindness was the guard
