The Ellison

Great hotel for a break away. Food was amazing and we were stuffed after our meals! Rooms were perfectly sized and serviced daily with fresh towels and toiletries provided. Only downside was not having a swimming pool '- boys missed their swim! Will book again ♥️

I just wanted to write a quick review of this wonderful hotel. I've been using The Ellison Hotel in Castlebar now for over 2 years as a business guest. Their meeting & conference facilities are fantastic & my meeting room is always set up, clean & ready for use on my arrival as requested. I've also availed of their accommodation many times & the bedrooms & deluxe room are quite, warm & comfortable. A good night's sleep is pretty much guaranteed! The hotel has ample parking in its multistory & the car spaces are spacious. The best thing about this hotel though is it's STAFF. Honestly I use many hotels throughout Ireland but I've yet to experience one where the staff are so welcoming, competent & friendly. There is nothing that is ever too much trouble for them. The breakfast staff are amazing, always cater to my diatry needs if I give them advance notice & a special mention to all the great girls on reception, Lisa, Felicity etc, they are just amazing. I would highly recommend the Ellison Hotel to anyone & everyone.....you will have a fabulous experience. Jarlaith

We arrived late and left early in the morning. The room was great — it had everything I needed. The restaurant was actually a very pleasant surprise. Dinner was excellent, breakfast met my expectations, and the service was great. Same goes for the front desk team — very attentive and helpful.
