The Fern Residency Somnath

During our Gujarat visit, we had a fantastic stay here. The location is good not very far from Somnath temple. The room was clean and so was the washroom. and other services were superb. Thanks team Fern for making our stay so memorable

Good stay but couple of things needs improvement. Infra is small compared to other fern hotels. Lift installed is also of local vendor and not standard. Food quality needs big improvement. Breakfast options were limited. Staff is friendly and very humble. Appreciate the neat and cleanliness of infra.

Rooms are large but needs better cleaning. The sofas and headboard seems to have never been vacuum for ages and has dust and stains. You literally can't use them. Bathroom seems old and is just ok. Room Lobby was stinking the whole time and furniture again was dusty and unclean. Staff was polite, however service needed multiple reminders. Again the basic supplies were not provided for all the guest as per booking and just enough for 2 people. Needed reminders. Location is 1.5 km from temple and close to 7 km from veraval station. Limited small restaurant near hotel are available. Breakfast, except vermicelli upma and tea, everything else seems stale and also only live counter for dosa that too after guests pushed them. Definitely a Big NO. Overall not worth more than 3k/day/room at all.
