The Golden Ridge Hotel

We had an amazing stay here! The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a great variety of options. One of the highlights was the heated indoor swimming pool — such a treat! We had a truly wonderful stay at The Golden Ridge Hotel in Nuwara Eliya from July 24th to 27th, 2024. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the hotel. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished, with a lovely view of the misty hills for which Nuwara Eliya is so famous. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the modern amenities that added to our comfort during our three-night stay. The hotel’s location is ideal—close enough to town for convenience, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the serene beauty of the area. We also enjoyed the variety and quality of food at the restaurant; each meal was fresh and flavorful, with both local and international options available. One of the highlights of our stay was simply relaxing in the beautifully maintained garden and enjoying the crisp mountain air. The Golden Ridge Hotel provided the perfect setting for a romantic and peaceful getaway, and we left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a memorable experience.
