The Guest Hotel & Spa

I had a great stay at the hotel in Segar, Port Dickson. While it's not right by the beach, the location is close to several interesting attractions, making it convenient for sightseeing. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent food—every meal was delicious and well-prepared, with a variety of options that cater to different tastes. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the modern amenities you'd need for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to try the spa, but I’ve heard great things about it and hope to experience it on my next visit. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money, especially with its wonderful dining options and convenient location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Port Dickson!

I stayed for 3 nights. As soon as I entered the room, the air conditioner started leaking severely after running for a short while. I called the front desk for assistance, and they said someone would come to check it. After waiting for very long in the room, no one showed up. I noticed the air conditioner was leaking so badly that the carpet was soaked, so I couldn't wait any longer and went downstairs to request a room change. After changing rooms, there were still many issues. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain, and water kept accumulating, which caused great inconvenience while using. I reported this to the front desk for 2 days, and they said they would send someone for repairs. However, by the time I checked out, the issue had not been resolved, and I wasn't sure if anyone even came to inspect or fix it. Additionally, the toilet made a constant noise every time it was flushed as it filled with water, which only stopped when the tank was full. It was extremely annoying. The hotel is old, and many things were damaged or showed signs of wear and tear. The cleanliness was also poor, there was dust everywhere on the countertops and tables, and I highly doubt they were wiped properly. Most importantly, the hotel staff did not take guests' complaints and feedback seriously. It felt careless and dismissive. It was an awful experience, and I do not recommend this hotel!
