Overall we had a great stay. The staff were very helpful, welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Hobart and surrounds. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed - occasionally a little noisy. For the price, I would have expected them to be very quiet, but there was a bit of street noise and also a lot of noise from a neighbouring room, but that was probably more due to the inconsiderate attitudes of the people staying there. After speaking with the staff, the following night was better. Valet parking was great - our car was always ready as soon as we asked for it. Except for our one night of noisy neighbours, our overall experience was exceptional.
Stayed here on our honeymoon. Service was above and beyond. Check in was smooth and the duty manager took care of us with lots of local recommendations and took us to our room where a little gift from the hotel was waiting to celebrate our wedding. Bar had delicious cocktails and both the cafe and restaurant would highly recommend. We will be back.
We stayed for one night, the lovely Hayley at reception gave us the best experience, taking us to our room on arrival, moving our car to the valet parking, and placing our luggage in it while we were having breakfast, this alone made up for the price. Our room was nice but didn't seem to warrant the high price, everything apart from tea and coffee was to be paid for including the bottled water (which you don't want to drink for city tap water) so suggested they give bottled water to customers, also needs a milk frother for the coffee machine too please. It had a lovely view from the room, would be better for thicker glass to stop some of the city noise though. The included breakfast was amazing, we didn't go to the restaurant for dinner as there wasn't much of an option to eat. It was worth the one off stay for us, especially with the amazing service from Hayley.
