LOCATION: This hotel is more suited to those on a business trip because it's located so close to the financial district. Although as a tourist, it worked out just fine. The Ferry Building is a 10min walk, there's a few bus stops around the hotel too that I used during my stay. I wouldn't walk around so late at night because it's so empty though. ROOM: The room was immaculate. Two big beds, each with four pillows, a huge TV, minbar, some seating. Because of the architecture of the building, it feels like a corner room with big windows you can crack open. Stocked with amenities in the bathroom, you don't need to bring much with you. OVERALL: My biggest gripe was that I used their app to request towels, nobody ever came. I then called downstairs, they said they would send somebody over, nobody ever came. Granted this was late at night, but a hotel runs 24/7. Front desk & the bartender were both professional. I would still recommend this hotel if you want something away from Union Square but still within commuting distance of SF's tourist stops.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Jay Hotel, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The location couldn't be more convenient, making it easy to explore the city and access all the nearby attractions. The rooms were a highlight of my stay—comfortable beds ensured a restful night’s sleep, and the views of the city from my room were simply breathtaking. Waking up to that skyline was a treat! I was also impressed by the gym facilities. It was above average in both equipment quality and cleanliness, making my workouts enjoyable during my stay. The staff at The Jay Hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my visit memorable. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Jay Hotel and would definitely stay again on my next visit! Highly recommended!

We stayed in the hotel with connecting room which is great for our group size. Location is good, walking distance to most of the tourist spots. We used big bus tour to get us to places and there is a big bus stop right out side the hotel. Staff is very friendly and polite. Our room is right next to the lift and I can hear the machine noise when I am in bed, light sleepers might want to request for rooms away from lift. Room key is not necessary to be used to get to each floor, this might pave a concern for some people who are highly concerned about security. We also don’t have bathtub in the room which is something I don’t normally wanted to use but with SF walking condition I actually think having a hot warm bath would be really nice. Otherwise we had no problem during our stay at all. My kids in fact loved this hotel.
