The Kimberley Hotel

When we were looking for accommodations, I was a bit worried about the recommendations we saw online—most of them looked really small. That’s why we felt so lucky to have found this hotel. Our room was spacious considering the price that we paid and it had all the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and our room was cleaned every single day. Although it’s a bit of a walk from the MTR station and bus stop, I’d still choose this hotel over any of the typical shoebox-sized accommodations.

The restaurant inside was nice with reduced price for hotel customers. Quick cleaning service when asked, and did not hesitate to give. Location is near nathans road very convenient without the bus and people who bother. Nice experience in general

The location of this hotel is great — very central and convenient for travelers. However, I’m disappointed that my honest review on Agoda was removed, so I’m posting my full experience here. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. While it looked clean and modern at first, the stay turned out to be extremely unsettling. The air conditioning kept adjusting itself, suddenly turning freezing cold in the middle of the night. On top of that, there were nonstop disturbing sounds — loud footsteps, children running, and metal clanking or dropping noises that continued from morning into the early hours of the next day. It was especially worse at night. At one point, it sounded like someone was knocking on my door repeatedly — but when I checked, no one was there. Some sounds even seemed to be coming from the ceiling. It felt very eerie and uncomfortable. I tried calling the receptionist to report these issues and the strange noises, but no one answered the phone. After my stay, I looked up reviews and found several stories and rumors about the hotel being haunted. I wouldn’t usually believe those things, but after this experience, I honestly felt something was off. Whether paranormal or not, the environment was far from restful or relaxing. I didn’t get any proper sleep during my stay and will not be returning. I hope this review remains visible because future guests deserve to be informed. STOP REMOVING MY REVIEWS I DO NOT RECOMMEND FAM WITH KIDS TO STAY HERE AS IT IS CREEPY
