The Level at Melia Caribe Beach All Inclusive

This resort is very nice but needs a touch-up. The people are nice but overworked. More tipping should be done. I love the fact that they have shows in the evening for all and dancing. We had a great time. The restaurants are all good too, but the buffet breakfast needs more Latin Dominican flavor, which it lacks. I guess since they cook in big batches, not everyone likes spices. However, I still needed that Dominican flavor that it lacked at times. Also, the days great others not. The baked goods at the buffets were not fresh. Pls work on those things, and your place would be top notch. Beautiful clean white beaches. When doing the tours do your homework and get your good deals because tourists get robbed. Also the ladies on the beach need work but they also charge too much for doing braids. Not $60 worth. You can always negotiate prices. Besides that we enjoyed the resort and recommend it.

2025 marks our 10th year staying at this resort. We are treated like family. Three gentlemen that take special care of us are Jose Minaya, Juan Adbricoles and Eddie Sambo. These guys go out of their way to ensure we are comfortable and happy! We have noticed many employees have been promoted since we began visiting. This speaks highly of the employees and of the resort for acknowledging excellent workers. We love Miguel at the Level restaurant - always a pleasure! Franklin Castillo is always pleasant and helpful. Felix Pichardo kept our glasses full of wonderful cocktails while we were on the beach. He shared his recipes with us! Our wonderful driver, Jean Carlos Giron, was kind enough to offer us a stool when getting on and off the shuttle. The beaches are cleaned of sea weed daily. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The wine painting class was top notch! We enjoyed a glass of wine while we painted a beach scene. Love the resort, especially the employees!!

We took a family vacation with our Adult Children to the level. That was our first mistake. They are adults but young adults. So this location was not ideal as far as entertainment and activities. Very quiet and boring. Cleaning service was not ideal. As we had to ask for things that should have been automatic with concierge price tag stay. Food was not good. Housekeeping kept put more and mor toilet paper in our room. At the end of our trip it was apparent why. We all came home with Traveler Diarrhea for almost a week. I absolutely will never go back to Punta Cana. They are on the list of places with this as a high occurrence. If there is a place that should be band. That it! They are know to have poor food preparation and hygiene practices, which I had to learn the hard way. Good look, plan to still go…
